09.11.2009 Korgonthurus/Bloodhammer split out now through W.T.C productions !

24.06.2009 We welcome Lunatic as a permanent drummer. He's been rehearsing and working with us since last summer and we all thought that only a session member position in the band wouldn't be enough. He made his debut studio appearance on the upcoming Tapa Itsesi 7". Line-up from now on will be: Corvus - Vocals and guitar Kryth - Guitar Necron - Bass Lunatic - Drums Upcoming releases: Tapa Itsesi 7" (Deviant Records & Truelove Entertainment) out in the end of June. Split 7" with Bloodhammer (WTC) out in the coming months. Marras CD/LP (Obscure Abhorrence Productions) out sometime this summer.

Korgonthurus will take a break for the rest of the year. Replying to mails, etc... will be almost completely stop and only most important ones will be noticed. We'll re-activate and pick up where we left in 2009 with new releases. Corvus, Kryth & Necron

21.07.2008 Korgonthurus will perform live at 5.9.2008 Tampere, bar Hellä with Lugubrum and Urfaust. Korgonthurus live line-up will be Corvus- Vocals, Kryth- Guitar, Necron- Bass and Lunatic- Drums. - Necron

10.07.2008 "Marras" We have finally finished the recordings for our debut album "Marras" which was recorded in pieces during 2006-2008. It will contain two lengthy songs titled "Marraskyyneleet" and "Mustan Usvan Kohdussa" with a total running time approx. 38 minutes. Expect nothing you've heard from us before, as this album will present a certain perioid from us which has passed a long time ago. After the album is finished with mixing and mastering we will concentrate on full-length number two, which's recordings will hopefully begin this fall/winter. Also, we've been prepairing since this spring for our first gig which will take place this autumn. We have a new session drummer who will take part to the live show as well as he'll be playing the drums on our next few releases. More info about the live line-up and where we'll be playing, when and who we'll be playing with will be given later this summer. -Kryth

24.01.2008 Coming next: Korgonthurus & Silberbach split. It will be released in 10" vinyl and again by Obscure Abhorrence Productions containing one song from us and two from Silberbach. Our song welcomes a different side of Korgonthurus being epic and melancholic, titled "Epätoivo Seuranasi". Tape version of "Korgonthurus" ep was released by Blood and Soil Productions quite some time ago already and is still available from them although they are resting in their grave at the moment. Contact them at bloodandsoilprods@yahoo.es On the same note, update to the full length's process (and partial death): As we never finished the recordings we decided to leave the album unreleased last summer as was planned and chopped it into pieces. Above mentioned "Epätoivo Seuranasi" and an other track "Sade" were finished in the beginning of this year and will be used in split releases and the two remaining songs will be released as a full length. As soon as vocals are recorded the songs will be released. More info will be given as we get things decided and sorted out.

01.10.2007 - Korgonthurus is proud to announce that " Ristillä Mädäntyen " will be released by Obscure Abhorrence Productions. Release contains three songs that are made exclusively to this release. The EP will be released as a picture 7 " vinyl. -Necron

An exclusive song "Talven Syömä" has been recorded and will appear on German-Finnish Alliance Sampler and it will be released by W.T.C. A split 7" with Bloodhammer is being planned. A tape version of the "Korgonthurus"-ep will be released through Blood and Soil productions. And an MLP-themed t-shirt will be made by Hearse Records.

There has been a few setbatcks with the recordings of the upcoming full length album, but everything are now sorted out and it should be finished soon. Again, more info about when the album is finished, who will release it and when it will be out. Also, people are contacting us based on the info from our old website. That page is VERY out of date and has wrong information about different events. We can't get the pages deleted, so ignore them! -Kryth
